Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy

Practicá tu Inglés con FGP!! www.fgpingles.com.ar

Hoy practicamos SECOND CONDITIONAL (la explicación la encontrás en ntra. entrada anterior) con una muy buena canción de BEYONCE.

. Complete, then listen and check.

If I (be) …………………………. a boy even just for a day
I (roll) …………………….. out of bed in the morning
And throw on what I wanted and go
Drink beer with the guys
And chase after girls
I'd kick it with who I wanted
And I'd never get confronted for it
'Cause they stick up for me

If I (be) …………………. a boy
I think I could understand
How it feels to love a girl
I swear I(be) …………………… a better man
I (listen) ………………………………. to her
'Cause I know how it hurts
When you lose the one you wanted
'Cause he's taking you for granted
And everything you had got destroyed

If I (be) ……………….. a boy
I ……………….. (turn) off my phone
Tell everyone it's broken
So they'd think that I was sleeping alone
I'd put myself first
And make the rules as I go
'Cause I know that she'd be faithful
Waiting for me to come home
To come home...

. SECOND CONDITIONAL:

El SEGUNDO CONDICIONAL lo usamos para SITUACIONES IMAGINARIAS, HIPOTÉTICAS y sus consecuencias. Lo formamos con: IF+ PAST SIMPLE, WOULD ('d). Por lo tanto decimos así:

- If I won a million dollars, I'd travel around the world. (Si ganara un millón de dólares, viajaría por el mundo.)
- If tomorrow snowed in Buenos Aires, I'd be very surprised. (Si mañana nevara en Buenos Aires, estaría sorprendido.)

. En ntra. pròxima entrada vamos a publicar actividades para que pongas en práctica este tema.

Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, impossible to forget.

A true friend is the best Possession.     Ben Franklin (1706-1790)

Friends are God's way of taking care of us.
