Algunos adjetivos son modificados por una palabra específica en lugar de very (muy). Por ejemplo: soaking wet (muy mojado, empapado), brand new (muy nuevo), crystal clear (muy claro), paper thin (muy delgada/fina). Por lo tanto decimos así:
- This bear is soaking wet. (Este oso está empapado/muy mojado).
- This flat has paper thin walls. (Este departamento tiene paredes muy finas/delgadas).
- The water of this lake is crystal clear. (El agua de este lago es muy clara/cristalina).
Tené en cuenta este tip, y así amplias tu vocabulario!!!

- Used to + infinitivo lo usamos para expresar hábitos del pasado,cosas que solíamos hacer en el pasado y que generalmente no las hacemos más en el presente. Por lo tanto decimos así:
- I used to play in the street as a child. (Jugaba en la calle cuando era chico.)
- She used to wear glasses. (Ella usaba anteojos.)
Importante!: Used to sólo lo usamos para hábitos del pasado, acordate que para hábitos en el presente usamos el presente simple.
