You leave sth in a place. Sorry teacher, I've left my book at home.

REFRAIN/RESTRAIN

You refrain from (doing) sth.: Refrian from smoking; it`s unhealthy.
You restrain sb from (doing) sth.: Restrain yourself from smoking; it's unhealthy.

. HIS: de un hombre.
. HER: de una mujer.
. ITS: de una cosa.
. THEIR: de hombres, mujeres o cosas.

POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES no cambian con sustantivos en plural.
