Going to

. Usamos be going to + verbo (infinitivo) para hablar de planes futuros y predicciones.

. Cuando hablamos usamos contracciones; I´m, she's, they're, etc..

. Informalmente podemos usar GONNA en vez de going to: I'm gonna play tennis tomorrow.

. Con el verbo go, podemos decir: I´m going to go o I'm going

. Usamos los siguientes adverbios con going to: tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.

Aunque termina con -s, es una palabra incontable. Por lo tanto:

▪ Nunca se usa en plural
▪ Nunca podemos poner la palabra 'a' antes de news.

Entonces decimos:

- Confusing Questions. ¿Cuál es la pregunta correcta?

   En Inglés hay dos distintas preguntas si queremos saber cómo es una persona (físicamente) y si queremos saber cómo es una persona (personalidad). Por lo tanto preguntamos así:

¿Cómo se forma?

Sujeto + WAS or WERE + VERB + ING ....

¿Cuándo lo usamos?

Lo usamos para describir una acción que estaba en progreso en un momento específico en el pasado.
Por ejemplo:

Yesterday at 3 in the afternoon I was watching tv. (Ayer a las 3 de la tarde estaba mirando la tele).

- Grammar tip: used to.

- Used to + infinitivo lo usamos para expresar hábitos del pasado,cosas que solíamos hacer en el pasado y que generalmente no las hacemos más en el presente. Por lo tanto decimos así:

- I used to play in the street as a child. (Jugaba en la calle cuando era chico.)

- She used to wear glasses. (Ella usaba anteojos.)

Importante!: Used to sólo lo usamos para hábitos del pasado, acordate que para hábitos en el presente usamos el presente simple.

- Tené en cuenta este tip, y así podés mejorar tu inglés!!
